ABOUT ME...
Angie Pierce earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Colorado-Boulder in August 1991. She received her Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in September 2013 and for Oriental Medicine in March 2017. Included in these certifications are Clean Needle Technique, Acupuncture, and Herbal Medicine. She earned her Master's of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in August 2013 and her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in April 2024 from Colorado Chinese Medicine University.
Angie is trained in therapies which include acupuncture, herbology, moxibustion, tui na, electrical stimulation, cupping, auriculotherapy, gua sha, plum blossom and seven star needle, lifestyle and dietary recommendations, and esoteric energy work.
Now that we have all the formalities out of the way...I treat each person with Respect and Honesty and I love what I do! You will always find me smiling and I have a story to share on any day if you like. I will put you at ease and provide you with treatment that will have you wondering why you waited so long.
I am a lover of Nature and the Seasons. Although Nature sometimes isn't very kind, it is my greatest Teacher and Inspiration. Seeing as I have been around for a 'few' decades, I have learned a 'few' lessons. My affinity for trees has occupied many of my travels...especially during the dormant Season when you can see its skeleton, its core...however underneath that bareness it is replenishing and preparing for growth. Not so dormant and not dissimilar to my 'sitting quietly' or as some call it, meditation.
The Internal Arts have been a part of my life for over 20 years. This practice has benefited me in my understanding of Chinese Medicine as they truly are the same! Through my studies of Tai Ji and Qi Gong, I have seen the rewards of Internal work and replenishing the Energy to further strengthen my entire Being. I bring this practice into each treatment. Come see me! I would love to work with you and together we will see how balance and harmony can exist in your World!
